Our Mission
The Draft Index was built to support the NBA Draft community by enabling anyone to submit and track the performance of their big board in the NBA Draft with leading advanced metrics.

Our Methodology
The Draft Index collects advanced metric data on each player in a given draft class and ranks them per the advanced metric (eg Box Plus/Minus). Our platform also collects user-submitted prospect rankings via the Draft Form page and stores them in our database. We then cross-reference user-submitted rankings with the advanced metric data to generate scouting performance insights per user, including correct picks in the Top 5, Top 20 and a proprietary Scouting Index score.
The Scouting Index is a weighted performance metric featuring the number of correct predictions crossed with the quality of correct predictions by advance metric. So, users' who correctly predict the top-5 players by, say, BPM, would likely have a higher Scouting Score than those who correctly predict only players 15-20.
